1. yes i have, i remember i was around 7 years old and four gang members were outside my house while i was looking out the window. Moments later, another gang member came from across the street and pulled out a gun and shot at the three gang members outside my house. No one got killed, but one of them was shot in the leg.
2. There's a lot of gang activity in my neighborhood all the time, so shootings happen every other day in a month. Most shootings happen in the summer and it isn't safe to be out. in the night almost every summer when am about to fall asleep i hear gun shots once in a while. Shootings will keep on going on because rival gangs shoot at each other and because a lot of people commit crimes over drugs and other purposes.
3. My three friends got shot at last month walking towards my house, one of them got shot in the arm for trying to help prevent my other friend getting shot at. As soon as shots were fired, they started running straight while the suspicious man kept shooting until the whole clip was empty. When my three friends were in a safe spot, they took my friend to the hospital.
4.The last time i heard someone get shot at was last week. According to a couple of people that were talking to me about it , the shooting took place maybe about 10 blocks away from were i live.
5. The first thing that comes to my head is, good thing that wasn't me. A drive by or someone shooting at someone else always happens in a unexpected time and it can happen to anybody. In Chicago someone can get shot for any reason at any time of the day. It can be you or it can be me, lets hope that never happens but its always good to be safe any were you go.
